Paul Hopper

Paul Hopper serves as HGO’s Dramaturg, or the resident opera scholar. Some of his duties include patron education programs, pre-curtain lectures, writing articles for the Opera Cues program books, and creating supertitle translations for all productions. Paul has worked for the Metropolitan Opera and Santa Fe Opera and has been a guest speaker at the University of Houston, Czech Center Museum Houston, and the Houston-Leipzig Society.
