Cristina Ivan is an adult psychiatrist, trained at Baylor College of Medicine, Menninger Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Houston, TX.  Before becoming a psychiatrist, she trained in Nephrology in Romania and France and Internal Medicine in the US. She provides patient care and teaches residents at Texas Methodist Hospital. Dr. Ivan’s areas of interest are psychoanalytic psychotherapy, spirituality and psychiatry, work-life balance, relationship problems, depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, grief, loss, aging, psychosomatic disease, and psychological distress caused by medical conditions.
