Richard Murray on the 2014 Elections

Two Tuesdays, October 14 and October 21, 6:30–8:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 5, 6:30–8:00 P.M. | Two Tuesdays, October 14 and October 21, 6:30–8:00 P.M. at Sumners Hall, St. John the Divine, 2450 River Oaks Boulevard, and Wednesday, November 5, 6:30–8:00 P.M. at Upper Kirby District Center, 3015 Richmond Ave. Upper Kirby parking entrances are on Eastside.

Does Wendy Davis stand a chance of becoming a second Democratic woman governor of Texas in her race against well-known Attorney General Greg Abbott?  Will the Republicans take over the U.S. Senate?  Will the Democrats be able to get out the vote to prevent a Republican take-over of Congress? Dr. Richard Murray will address these compelling and fascinating questions in The Houston Seminar’s fall course on the midterm elections.  As always, Dr. Murray has the inside track on political events in Texas and the nation.  We will have one session devoted to the Texas races, and another to the Congressional races throughout the nation.   In the post-election session,
Dr. Murray will analyze what happened and why.
