In 1996 the Houston Seminar heralded its Super Tuesday lectures as follows: “Texas and seven other states will select their presidential delegates March 12. . . Several Republican candidates may be viable before Super Tuesday, but only one or two will likely survive.” How times have changed! Richard Murray will help us sort out the here and now of this season’s caususes and primaries in three timely sessions beginning in January. In addition, in December we offer the opportunity to get a preview of events before they begin.
Richard Murray is the Bob Lanier Professor of Urban Public Policy and the director of surveying for the Center for Public Policy at the University of Houston.
