Brian Connelly is acclaimed as a pianist of exceptional range and accomplishment in both modern and historical styles. He performs frequently as soloist and chamber musician, and has collaborated with many of today's pre-eminent artists. He is a member of the innovative ensemble Context and performed over 150 works for Houston's Da Camera in its first six seasons. He was recently featured in the Carnegie Hall series "Making Music," in a tribute to composer William Bolcom. Mr. Connelly teaches piano at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University.
There is no admission charge for this concert, offered as a tribute to Eloise Steele Walsh and underwritten by her friends and the board of directors of the Houston Seminar. All Houston Seminar patrons are cordially invited to attend.
