Kim Davenport, the director of the Rice Art Gallery, will discuss the current show—a beautiful installation by Sarah Oppenheimer, intriguingly titled OE2.
Following our gallery talk we will have lunch in a private dining room at Cohen House, the Rice University faculty club. After lunch, Molly Hubbard, director of the Rice University Public Art Program, will lead us on a tour of the campus in which she will show and discuss handsome new construction and the evergrowing collection of art—inside university buildings and outdoors on the lovely campus—owned by the university. We will ride in a Rice shuttle bus for the tour.
