February 7: We will visit the Houston home of Charles Butt.
His collection includes nineteenth-century American marine paintings,
twentieth-century American art, French photographs, and eighteenth-century
American furniture.
February 14: We will tour the Fourth Ward studio of
Toby Topek and see her new, whimsical jewelry creations. From there
we will visit the downtown studio of Christian Eckhard, where we will
see his newest monochromatic paintings on metal. Eckhard recently moved
to Houston from New York and is represented in collections worldwide.
February 21: We will visit the house of Beverly and
Howard Robinson, whose collection emphasizes contemporary art and crafts.
