THE BOOK OF PSALMS

Three Wednesdays, March 24, 31 and April 7
at 12:30 – 2 P.M.
Compass Bank, 2001 Kirby at San Felipe, Second Floor

Matthias Henze, assistant professor of religious studies at Rice University, will guide us in a discussion of the content and theology of a selection of Psalms. In the biblical books of the Prophets and in the Torah, God reaches out to us. In the Psalms, we reach out to God. The biblical Psalms are a record of our quest for God and a revealing portrayal of the human condition. Suggested reading: Nahum M.
