ARTISTS’ STUDIOS: AN INSIDE LOOK

We will visit the studios of two of Houston’s leading artists, Aaron Parazette and Sharon Engelstein. Parazette, associate chair of the University of Houston School of Art, is a nationally recognized painter, who has had solo shows in Los Angeles, Boston and Miami and will be featured in a one-person show at Houston’s Contemporary Art Museum in spring 2004. We will tour the graduate student studios and current exhibition at the University of Houston. Sculptor Sharon Engelstein has had one-person shows at the Glassell School, the CAM, and in Miami. She recently won the coveted International Artist-in-Residency Program of ArtPace in San Antonio.
