Backroads, Barns, Frank Lloyd Wright, and the Prairie School: Art and Architecture in Iowa

Thursday through Sunday, September 27 - 30

Accompanied by architectural historian Stephen Fox and midwestern preservationists. we will visit many of Iowa's private, commercial, and government buildings designed by Louis Sullivan, Frank Lloyd Wright, Eliel Saarinen, and other nineteenth- and twentieth-century masters,. A museum, private art collection, farm buildings, and rural communities are on the itinerary, which includes sites in Des Moines, Mason City, Perry, and State Center.
